Fifth Grade

Ms. HernandezWelcome to the Fifth Grade Home Page!

My name is Ms. Judith Hernandez and I am the fifth grade teacher. I am very excited to be part of the Immaculate Conception School family.  Even though I did not attend Catholic schools as a child, I always placed great value in the excellence of a Catholic education.

I graduated from the University of California Los Angeles, UCLA,  and earned a Bachelor of Arts  in History. I am currently working on my Masters of Education at Azusa Pacific University.

I not only enjoy my faith but I also love to embrace it by participating in the church in different ways. I taught seven years as a catechist in Epiphany Catholic Church and I am currently serving as a lector and Eucharistic Minister.

I am very honored to work as a teacher at Immaculate Conception Church because it is not only a job but a ministry. I am very happy to share my faith with the upcoming fifth graders and also to help them see that learning science, math, history, language arts, and religion will help them learn more about themselves.
