Eighth Grade

Welcome to the Eighth Home Page!

Hello my name is Mrs. Stacy Bradshaw.

I am committed to the Gospel values and look forward to the responsibility of fostering the development of a faith commitment by IC students.  I am a Catholic active in the sacramental life of the Church.  I believe that I can contribute meaningfully to the experiential and hands on learning activities that will develop the reasoning and language arts skills of all IC’s middle students.

I will serve as Vice Principal – Religion, Social Studies, and Academic Decathlon Coordinator.

I received my BA in Human Communication and my Master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in Argumentation and Persuasion.  I will complete courses this year for my Catechist Certificate.  I have been teaching public speaking, interpersonal communication, and small group communication at Chaffey College for 10 years.  I served from 2010-2013 as the VP of Advocacy, Cal State Fullerton Alumni Board, where I traveled to Sacramento to meet with State legislators about Higher Education.  I lead the Southern California Urban Debate League program at Valencia High School during my graduate program and I plan on beginning a Speech and Debate program at IC School.   I played soccer in high school and served as an AYSO Soccer coach and referee.  I have walked in 3 LA Marathons.

My husband and I live in Monrovia and we are members of the Immaculate Conception Parish family.  My son works for California Highway Patrol and my daughter begins teaching Pre-K this year at a private school in Palo Alto.  I have two beautiful grandchildren who are just beginning to learn as Catholics the great love of Jesus.

“We must pray with our whole being to give all power possible to our supplication.”    Catechism of the Catholic Church

“Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path.”   Encyclical letter LUMEN FIDEI (the Light of Faith), Pope Francis, June 29, 2013
